Best Logging Pals in Palworld (early, mid and late game)

Wood is the sneaky bottleneck in every base. Here are the Logging Pals that keep the chests full early, mid and late game.

Wood: the resource you ignore until every chest is empty and your base is 60 planks short of a roof. Logging Pals are the cheapest fix in the game, and one good one is worth ten manual axe swings.

Every Pal below is listed with its real Logging level from the current game data, where it spawns, what else it can do at your base, and a breeding route in case the wild spawn keeps ghosting you.

§What Logging actually does

Logging Pals work the Logging Site plus any trees inside base radius. Higher level means faster work and, for some jobs, access to work you simply cannot do at low level. Condensing a Pal to 4 stars bumps its work level too, which is why the tables below show both numbers.

§Can't catch it? Breed it

Breeding in Palworld is not random guessing — every Pal has a hidden breed rank, and the child is decided by the average of both parents (with a pile of special pairs that override the rule). Practical version:

  • Mammorest Cryst — Mammorest x Wumpo
  • Wumpo Botan — Ghangler x Flaracle
  • Wumpo — Nyafia x Flaracle
  • Celesdir Noct — Kitsun Noct x Celesdir
  • Celesdir — Eikthyrdeer Terra x Gildane

Heads up: Hartalis only breed true from themselves, so there is no shortcut pair. Bring better spheres and a lot of patience.

  1. 1Build a Breeding Farm and keep Cake stocked in its chest.
  2. 2Drop in your two parents (one male, one female).
  3. 3Grab the egg, incubate it, hatch, repeat.
  4. 4Once you have the Pal you want, condense duplicates to 4 stars for the extra work level.

§Base setup that actually works

  • Keep Logging stations inside a tight radius — walking time is wasted work time.
  • Beds, food and a hot spring stop the "my Pal is depressed again" spiral.
  • Do not overload one base with every job. Split jobs across bases and let transport Pals move the loot.
  • Check work suitability before you release a Pal: a lot of ugly early Pals quietly have great secondary jobs.

Stack logging with transporting and your wood chest will genuinely overflow.

Palworld breeding basics that actually matter

Breeding in Palworld is a slot machine you can rig. Here is the cake-to-egg pipeline I use, plus the passive-skill stacking that turns a random pal into a proper workhorse.

Best Mining Pals in Palworld (early, mid and late game)

Ore, coal and sulfur on tap: the Mining Pals worth a Pal Sphere at every stage, plus breeding routes when the wild refuses to cooperate.

Best Kindling Pals in Palworld (early, mid and late game)

Furnaces, cooking pots and refined ingots — the Kindling Pals that keep your fires lit without torching your food supply.

Best Handiwork Pals in Palworld (early, mid and late game)

Handiwork is the stat that decides whether your base builds itself or stares at you. These are the picks that actually finish things.

Best Watering Pals in Palworld (early, mid and late game)

Plantations, cooling and furnace duty. The Watering Pals worth keeping, from your first berry patch to a full farm.

Best Planting Pals in Palworld (early, mid and late game)

Seeds in, food out. The Planting Pals that turn your base into a working farm instead of a sad berry bush.

Best Gathering Pals in Palworld (early, mid and late game)

Berries, eggs and everything else your Pals should be picking. The Gathering picks for every stage of the run.

Best Transporting Pals in Palworld (early, mid and late game)

Nothing kills a base like items rotting on the floor. These Transporting Pals actually haul.

Best Cooling Pals in Palworld (early, mid and late game)

Coolers, egg incubators and the fridge nobody staffs. Here are the Cooling Pals worth a slot.

Best Electricity Pals in Palworld (early, mid and late game)

Power plants are hungry. These are the Electricity Pals that keep the lights on without constant babysitting.

Best Medicine Production Pals in Palworld (early, mid and late game)

Sick Pals are useless Pals. The Medicine Production picks that keep your medicine workbench humming.

Best Farming (Ranch) Pals in Palworld (early, mid and late game)

Ranch duty is free loot while you sleep. The Farming Pals worth a spot on the ranch.
