Best Planting Pals in Palworld (early, mid and late game)

Seeds in, food out. The Planting Pals that turn your base into a working farm instead of a sad berry bush.

Planting is how your base stops living on berries and starts feeding a full Pal army. Get one solid planter going and your food problem quietly disappears.

Every Pal below is listed with its real Planting level from the current game data, where it spawns, what else it can do at your base, and a breeding route in case the wild spawn keeps ghosting you.

§What Planting actually does

Planting Pals work plantations (berry, wheat, lettuce, tomato and friends). Higher level means faster work and, for some jobs, access to work you simply cannot do at low level. Condensing a Pal to 4 stars bumps its work level too, which is why the tables below show both numbers.

§Can't catch it? Breed it

Breeding in Palworld is not random guessing — every Pal has a hidden breed rank, and the child is decided by the average of both parents (with a pile of special pairs that override the rule). Practical version:

  • Carnibora — Sweepa x Nyafia
  • Quivern Botan — Lullu x Quivern
  • Elizabee — Arsox x Nyafia
  • Ophydia — Knocklem x Bellanoir Libero

Heads up: Dandilord, Lyleen only breed true from themselves, so there is no shortcut pair. Bring better spheres and a lot of patience.

  1. 1Build a Breeding Farm and keep Cake stocked in its chest.
  2. 2Drop in your two parents (one male, one female).
  3. 3Grab the egg, incubate it, hatch, repeat.
  4. 4Once you have the Pal you want, condense duplicates to 4 stars for the extra work level.

§Base setup that actually works

  • Keep Planting stations inside a tight radius — walking time is wasted work time.
  • Beds, food and a hot spring stop the "my Pal is depressed again" spiral.
  • Do not overload one base with every job. Split jobs across bases and let transport Pals move the loot.
  • Check work suitability before you release a Pal: a lot of ugly early Pals quietly have great secondary jobs.

Plant more slots than you think you need. Food demand grows faster than your Pal count.
